Is your foot on your brakes?? I asked myself that question today as I'm installing brake lines on a old van I'm borrowing here at a place I call the lodge. A long time friend of mine loaned the van to me while I'm here re-re-streamlining and re-refocusing and planning my continued friendly attack on my ventures.
I found some limiting thoughts wanting to reappear in my mind like my foot on a brake pedal slowing down a car. The thoughts were wanting to slow down my life. I shut my old thoughts off like a light bulb. Sometimes we forget to shut them off entirely and keep them on dimmer. Dimmer is not good enough, dimmer is dim not BRIGHTness!
Let go of your brakes and enjoy the ride I told myself. Whenever it seems I'm touching my brake pedal it seems unnatural and uncomfortable. Lets just accelerate and enjoy.
So how do we change our thoughts??? Simply only allow things in your mind that will help you achieve and upbuild your mind and core. Examine all input avenues: all media-print, audio and video, friends and associates, entertainment. When looking at your inputs honestly ask yourself are these thing inspiring and loving to all things or other?
